Sydney’s Harbour Heartbeat

We read this article today and figured it was worth a share. Sydney’s beautiful harbour has finally received the recognition it deserves. I have a slight obsession with our harbour (obviously). It reminds me of what is good in the world. CORNY but it does. I’ve now lived here for over 10 years and no matter how many times I pass it or see it, I am astounded. On depressed rainy days or sparkling Sundays, it’s like your best friend – you’ll love it no matter what.

The harbour will be the 16th landscape listed, and the first which takes in natural and architectural wonders, along with thousands of years of human history.

I feel for the people who are without this harbour in their life every day. Count your blessings Sydney….
